CIC provides a FREE 24-hour on-site trauma service for the Tableview, Melkbos and Milnerton SAPS as well as to Milnerton Medi-Clinic and Netcare Blaauwberg Hospital. We have operated for 10 years and have seen up to 200 cases a month. The phenomenal success of this project has been due to the ongoing support from the Blaauwberg community.

 

We hold information evenings periodically at the Milnerton Medi-Clinic Boardroom, contact us to find out our next information evening, join us and hear all about the trauma service and how it operates.

Not everyone enjoys trauma work, however that are a number of different ways you can give back to your community and be part of the work of CIC.

These are just a few ways to become involved:

• Apply for the 2011 specialist trauma course in order to qualify as a volunteer CIC trauma worker.
• Become a "Friend of CIC" and join as a corporate or individual member.
• Join our Professional network and offer your services to CIC.
